RULES, CHARGES AND ACCESSORIAL SERVICES
DELIVERY APPOINTMENT

DEFINITION - As requested or required, the charge in Table 1 will apply
when the carrier provides a delivery appointment service; carrier will
contact the consignee prior to delivery to arrange a mutually acceptable
delivery time frame. When directed by the shipper, the original bill of
lading must clearly indicate a delivery appointment is required with a
valid contact phone number.
APPLICATION - When requested by the customer and at the carrier's
discretion, the carrier may accommodate a request for a delivery
appointment provided carrier has a valid phone number on file or is
provided one on the original bill of lading.
The charge in Table 1 will apply per shipment. There is no guarantee for
delivery appointment service.
In addition to the charge in this item, a shipment may be subject to the
applicable charge for Storage (See YRC Tariff 100 item 910) when the
appointment time exceeds 24 hours after the initial phone call is made.
When both Notify Before Delivery and Delivery Appointment services are
requested, only Delivery Appointment will be applied.
NON APPLICATION - When the Residential Pickup and Delivery service or
Limited Access Pickup and Delivery Service is applied, the charge in Table
1 will not apply.
PAYMENT OF CHARGES - Unless the above described service is requested
Prepaid on the Bill of Lading, the charges in Table 1 are payable by the
party that requests the service.
