Shipment Notification


Shipment Notification by PRO Number

This tool sends an e-mail update based on your selected notification and/or document request options to 50 or fewer e-mail addresses. We send status messages four times a day at 8 a.m., noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Set up Shipment Notification:

  1. Enter a PRO number.
  2. Select a notification option and/or documentation request.
  3. Enter the e-mail address(es).
  4. Click Submit; you will receive a confirmation page, and your request will be stored in our database.

Remove a shipment from Shipment Notification:
  1. Enter the PRO number and the e-mail address(es) receiving the notifications.
  2. Click Remove.

About PRO Number

Enter a specific PRO number to set up tracking status notification and/or documentation request(s) for that shipment. Click Update to modify your profile to track all your shipments.

Select the notification option that best meets your needs. The options are:

PRO Number Document Request Options

Use this option with the status notification option or by itself to receive an e-mail with a link to the bill of lading, proof of delivery, weight and inspection certificate and/or invoice when they become available in our system.Your request remains in our database until we've scanned the document and sent the e-mail.

PRO Number E-mail Addresses

You may enter up to four e-mail addresses that you would like to receive tracking notification or documentation.

Opt to receive e-mail notifications with or without graphics.

Shipment Notification by Profile

Set or update your notification options and/or request documentation for all your shipments or by:

Complete your profile selections, then click Save. You may set up multiple profiles, edit or delete a profile.

This section lists the profiles associated with your user ID. Click the appropriate link to edit or delete a profile.

Profile Notification Options

Select the notification option that best meets your needs. The options are:

Profile Tracking Criteria

Select the specific direction/role that your location(s) play(s) on shipments. You can choose all your shipments, inbound, outbound or third party.

The "Choose your location" option restricts a profile to one location or a subset of your locations. Click the link at the end of the sentence to access Customer E-Tracking Locations to adjust the locations in your E-Tracking profile. We store your selected locations in your E-Tracking profile and won't change unless you update your profile.

The "Choose your vendor or customer location" option restricts a profile to one location or multiple locations for your vendor, supplier or customer. Click the link at the end of the sentence to access a select location screen to search for the profile locations. We store your selected locations; they will not change unless you update your profile.

The "Choose the Service type" option restricts your tracking to specific service types. The drop-down menu lists available services:

Vendor Selection Search

Search and restrict your E-Tracking profile to a single location or group of locations of your vendors, suppliers or customers, then Save your selected locations, so every time the E-Tracking process runs, the locations are included in the process.


Enter Search Criteria

To search, enter one of the following:

Seach Results and Selected Locations

After you click Search, the screen displays locations that meet your search criteria with a check box next to each entry.

Add to Selected Locations: Click the box(es) next to the location(s) in the search results that you would like to add to your Shipment Notification profile and click Add to List; the location(s) move to your Selected Location(s) list.

Add more locations by clearing your search criteria, adding new names, etc., and searching again.

Remove Selected Locations: To remove a location or update an Shipment Notification profile, click the box(es) next to the location(s) you would like removed from the list, then click the Remove From List.

Save Locations to Report or Shipment Notification Profile: After you've completed your list updates, click Save to associate these locations with your Shipment Notification profile.

Cancel: Click Cancel to return to the Shipment Notification profile page without saving your updates.
